EXPERIMENTAL ELECTRONIC MUSIC SCENE OF IRAN This page presents some of the podcasts I produced as part of my reviews on a series of Electronic and Electroacoustic works made by Iranian composers and producers. The texts (in Farsi) can be viewed on the following link: https://www.iranwire.com/fa/author/272 I am a composer, sound artist, radio producer, music blogger, and researcher, currently based in Belfast (Sonic Arts Research Centre, Queen’s University Belfast), where I pursue an interdisciplinary PhD in Sonic Arts and Anthropology. Sonically, my work explores the use of spatial audio techniques in electroacoustic composition in order to create immersive sonic experiences. For that purpose I work with recorded sounds such as field recordings, as well as electronically synthesised sounds; computer coding. I am also interested in researching the effect of music in forming new socialities.
