Extensive teaching, research, project management, editorial, and executive/administrative experience. Visiting researcher at the University of Greenwich conducting research on immersive composition and social change. Designed, developed, and delivered modules in music production/technology, computer-assisted composition, and music anthropology at Queen's University Belfast. Conduct research on the soundscape of brutalist estates as a research partner at the Sonic Tehran project at the City University of London (Leverhulme-funded). Have released music under my own name via Room40, Opal Tapes, and Flaming Pines among others. Performed at international festivals including Klangteppich Berlin, CTM Berlin, Sonorities Belfast, TADAEX Tehran, and ARTFUTURA London. My research and creative outputs have been represented also through popular media such as BBC 3, Deutschlandfunk kultur, The Wire, Resonance FM, the Quietus, and Shondaland among others. Created radio and podcast series for BBC World Service, Resonance FM, and Iranwire.

Book on Iranian contemporary experimental electronic music due for publication via Routledge in 2024. Published several peer-reviewed articles in world-leading journals in sound studies, pop music studies, ethnomusicology, and experimental music. Presented in ICLI 2018, BFE/SFE 2019, ICMC 2020, and BFE 2021 among others.
