I lead research and publication at the intersection of creative practice, immersive storytelling and urban change. Working closely with urban stakeholders, I develop systematised, replicable toolsets, impact frameworks and policy suggestions aiming to co-create participatory, inclusive, sustainable, and playful urban spaces.
As the Editor-in-Chief of Openwork Journal (Columbia University), my practice promotes cross-disciplinary publishing in creative research within humanities, social sciences and computer science, advancing new modes of engagement across authors, editors, and reviewers. Openwork is the official journal of the Computer Music Centre. Our third issue is currently in preparation for publication in September 2026.
As a News Editor, managing daily outputs for major global broadcasters for the past five years, I have edited sensitive stories and coordinated producers, correspondents and anchors in high-pressure, fast-paced newsroom environments. I am trilingual (English, French, Persian), with expertise in communicating complex information in engaging, accessible, innovative, and tailored ways to diverse audiences.
